Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington has been a Greek American columnist, author and businesswoman for more than 20 years. She founded The Huffington Post, is the CEO and founder of Thrive Global as well an author of fifteen novels. Arianna Huffington is a journalist, writer, journalist, TV host and the owner of The Huffington Post. When she moved into England from Greece at 16 and obtaining an MA with Economics from Cambridge University. Being the first non-English-speaking student to graduate, she was elected President of The Cambridge Union' at the age of 21. She was a syndicated conservative writer following the graduation ceremony and, when The Huffington Post launched a few years later, she developed an online platform for voice which offered critiques of political scenarios. Her fame led to the recruitment of a number of prominent contributors to share their opinions on the news as well as politics and culture. Arianna gained fame in 2003 when she decided to contest independently in the California recall election in order to succeed the then governor Davis. Additionally she also led the Detroit Project for efficient vehicles that use less fuel. Forbes listed her 12th in its top 10 list of Most Popular Media Women. Guardian also included the Huffington Post in their top 100 list in 2010. In 2011 AOL Inc. purchased The Huffington Post and made the president of that media group which included many existing AOL properties too such as Engadget AOL music Style list as well as Patch Media. The parents of her were Elli as well as Konstantinos Stasinopoulos who was who was a consultant in management as well as a journalist. Although she had a close connection to her mother and father, it was their bond which shaped her. She was a leader from the beginning. At 16 years of age she relocated back to United Kingdom to pursue her study and then enrolled at Girton College Cambridge. During her college days she joined the debating society Cambridge Union where she became the first foreign president and was also the third female president. In 1972, she graduated with an MA in Economics. In the years following her graduation, she was an editor of the critic's column and a television host. She also appeared in the show Face the music along with Bernard Levin and began writing books taking editorial help from him.
