Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963 into the musically inclined family of Newark New Jersey is the daughter of the gospel singers Cissy Houston as well as John Russell Houston Jr. Also, she is the sister of the singer Dionne Warwick. Whitney's mother and her started singing professionally at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark at the age of fifteen years old. The album that followed it in 1987 Whitney which included the hits Where Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built the foundation of her popularity, however it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard (1992) that made her one of the top-selling performers of all time. Although the film and the performances in it weren't widely praised the soundtrack album and her rendition of Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You made charts for albums and singles for a period of time and sold over 44 million copies all over the world. The same year, she was married former New Edition star Bobby Brown with whom she had her only child their daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, born in March 1993. About this time her well-documented drug use started and in 1996, she used to use drugs every day.

Dana Bash (also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz) is a CNN anchor and political reporter. Her previous work included NBC, CBS and other prestigious channels.
